How to witness

When someone asks, be ready.

You do not need a perfect speech. You need a clear answer, a kind tone and the courage to point back to Jesus.

Simple framework

Keep it honest and low pressure.

Do not argue. Do not perform. Answer the question in front of you and give them room to respond.

Step 1

Notice the moment

If someone asks, slow down. You do not have to turn a small question into a sermon.

Step 2

Start with Scripture

Name the verse first. It gives the conversation a real anchor instead of a vague religious slogan.

Step 3

Say why it matters

One honest sentence is usually enough. Tell them why that truth matters to you right now.

Step 4

Ask one question

Try: "Have you heard that verse before?" or "Does that kind of peace feel hard to believe right now?"

Step 5

Offer the QR page

If they want more, the devotional gives them space to read without pressure.

Practice answers

Start with one plain sentence.

Take Heart

If they ask what it means

When someone asks about the shirt, start with: "It comes from John 16:33. Jesus was honest that trouble is real, but He also said He has overcome the world. I wear it because I need that reminder."

Jonah and the Whale

If they ask what it means

When someone asks about the shirt, start with: "Jonah reminds me that God can reach people even when they are running the wrong direction. He heard Jonah from the deep, and I believe He still hears people there."

Animal Crackers

If they ask what it means

When someone asks about the shirt, start with: "It points to Psalm 34:8: taste and see that the Lord is good. I like it because it is a simple reminder that faith is not just something to admire from far away. God invites us to come close."

Different apparel, different moments

Use the item the way people notice it.

T-shirts

Best for bold artwork and clear Scripture themes. A shirt is the easiest piece for someone to notice and ask about.

Hats

Better for subtle phrases, symbols and everyday wear. The conversation is usually shorter and more casual.

Totes and bags

Useful in public settings: errands, school, church events, gifts and youth group bundles.

Before you wear it

Read the message behind the design.
